Burdock Root is used to treat skin diseases, boils, fevers, inflammations, hepatitis, swollen glands, some cancers, and fluid retention. It is an excellent blood purifier. A tea made of the leaves of Burdock is also used for indigestion. This herb is very useful for building the systems of young women. It helps clear persistent teenage acne if taken for three to four weeks, at the same time using it as an external cleanser on the affected areas. When it is combined with dandelion root it becomes a very effective liver cleanser and stimulator.

Burdock Root 200g.

Add loose tea (1 to 2 teaspoons per cup, 250ml) to a teapot, or infuser basket. Pour very hot water (not boiling) over the tea and let it infuse for up to 10 to 15 minutes. Strain leaves from the teapot before pouring. Add honey or a slice of lemon to taste. Enjoy!
